Steingraeber & Sohne Piano was established in 1852 and producing about 60 grand pianos and 60 uprights per year, it continues to lead the way in acoustic research and innovation, as well as producing the most responsive pianos with the greatest tonal pallette of any manufacturer.
After playing a Steingraeber, one pianist described the experience: "It's as if the piano knew what I was going to do before I did. The response is immediate and absolutely nothing is lost in translation."
Steingraeber has received numerous international prizes for his pianos, including the "WORLD’S BEST UPRIGHT" (the 138), and the "BEST GRAND PIANO" under 2 meters (168 baby grand) at The Paris Piano Competition.
Steingraeber has won the “Best of the Very Best” awards consistently since 1988.
